About us

How did it all begin?

Our first dog was a mutt named Bady, with whom we shared 11 wonderful years. When he passed away, I longed for another canine companion, but I had to wait several years until I had the right conditions to welcome a new dog into my life.

I had been dreaming of retrievers since childhood, spending hours poring over dog atlases and various encyclopedias. But why exactly a Flat-Coated Retriever? This breed captured my heart with its cheerful, puppy-like nature, which it keeps throughout its life—truly a Peter Pan among dogs. Flats are family-friendly and non-confrontational, kind to children and other animals (Ťapka gets along with cats and even chickens—though she sometimes steals their food! We're unsure about Joyka, since my parents no longer have chickens, but she wouldn't even hurt a mouse).

With a Flat-Coated Retriever, you can explore a variety of activities, including hunting training, search and rescue work, agility, nosework, obedience, dog dancing, canicross, flyball, and canine therapy.

Our Kennel

In 2016, we welcomed our first Flat-Coated Retriever female, Brown Ťapka z Dvoreckého údolí. Ťapka exceeded all my expectations, introducing me to the world of canine breeding, dog shows, and training. She is a true representative of her breed, with excellent health results, and for this reason, we decided to start breeding and establish our kennel.

From our first litter in 2022, I kept our affectionate female, Joyka. Choosing from the litter was incredibly difficult because I fell in love with all the puppies. With Joyka, I decided to continue breeding this amazing breed. Joyka has excellent health results, a wonderful temperament, and a beautiful exterior.

When selecting a stud dog, we pay close attention not only to his health, but we also try to gather as much information as possible about the health of his ancestors.

Most importantly, we wish for our puppies to find loving families who will dedicate time to them and care for them. We are happy to assist with training, upbringing, and dog shows, and we aim to stay in long-term contact with the future puppy owners. We remain in touch with the owners of our first litter and cherish every photo, whether from training sessions, trips, or lazy moments at home.
